Since my first campaign in 2006, I have maintained my pledge never to accept a penny in contributions from PACs or corporations. This helps keep you, my constituents, at the front of the line.

For my 2010 re-election campaign, I received contributions from more than 1000 individuals, mostly at the $20 level. This represented one of the biggest grassroots fundraising efforts in Oregon legislative history.
